The firm was founded in 1992 by Sheila Garb, a highly respected and experienced consultant to the legal community with over sixteen years of legal recruiting experience.  In 1986, Sheila founded the legal department of Sorkin & Associates, Inc., which soon became its most successful division and was awarded the highest rating possible by the publication American Lawyer.  Thereafter, Sheila struck out on her own and founded Garb Jaffe & Associates.
